Private-Label Apparel Manufacturing for European Boutiques & Brands

Pushkara Creation supplies private-label resort wear and hand-block printed apparel to boutiques and brands across Europe, manufactured in our Pushkar, Rajasthan atelier.

Fifty pieces per style is enough to start. The cloth is chosen for European summers — breathable, natural, and made to be kept rather than replaced.

01

Trade access

The India–EU Free Trade Agreement was concluded on 27 January 2026 after nearly two decades of negotiation, and it is the largest such deal either side has closed. For Indian textiles and apparel the headline is market access: more than 99% of Indian exports are set to enter the EU preferentially, with tariffs on labour-intensive sectors — textiles among them — coming down in phases.

One caution, because customs is not a place for optimism: a concluded agreement is not yet an agreement in force. The treaty still has to be signed, approved by the European Council and the European Parliament, and cleared by India's own cabinet, with the first tariff reductions expected to take effect in early 2027 and then step down over the agreed schedule. Until then, shipments clear at the EU's standard third-country rates. Ask your clearing agent to confirm the rate applicable to your HS code when you place the order, not when you plan it.

The direction is set, and buyers have noticed. Indian apparel exports to the EU have grown year on year, and within that our own enquiries and repeat orders from Germany and Spain have grown faster than most.

02

Compliance & labeling

Every garment we ship to the EU carries a fibre-composition declaration that meets the EU's textile labelling regulation: exact fibre percentages, in the language your destination market requires, printed or woven onto a permanent label rather than a sticker that survives one wash. Composition is checked against the fabric's test report before cutting, so the label matches the cloth and not the order form.

Behind the label we keep the records that support it — mill and supplier details, dye and finish specifications, and test reports for restricted substances. On request we work to REACH restricted-substance limits and can source OEKO-TEX or GOTS-certified cloth where your brand needs the certificate on file.

We are also tracking the EU's upcoming Digital Product Passport requirements for textiles, expected to become mandatory for the sector around 2028–2029. It is not a requirement today, and we are not claiming that it is. But the passport will ask for precisely the supply-chain documentation we already hold — fibre origin, mill, processor, chemical inputs, and repair and recycling information — so we are building that file now, style by style, instead of reconstructing it under deadline.

What we manufacture

Three things make up most of what we send to European buyers.

  • —

    Resort wear

Kaftans, maxi dresses, cover-ups, sarongs and co-ord sets in voile, linen and rayon — cut for heat, and for how a garment behaves after a season of sun and salt.

  • —

    Hand-block prints

Carved wooden blocks and natural or reactive dyes, printed by hand in Pushkar. Repeats, scale and colourways are developed to your brief, and the block stays with your account.

  • —

    Embroidered couture

Hand-embroidered and sequinned occasion pieces, from a light thread scatter to a fully worked bodice, produced in small runs for buyers who want one piece rather than a hundred.

What ties them together is fibre. Cotton voile and poplin, organic cotton where you want the certification, pure linen and linen-cotton, Tencel and modal where drape matters, and rayon or viscose for a softer hand. European buyers increasingly want a fibre story they can defend on the label — what it is, where it came from, how long it will last — and breathable natural fibres answer that better than any recycled synthetic does for the same customer.

All of it is made under your label, not ours: your woven neck label, your hangtag, your size set, your carton marks. What we develop for a client is never resold or listed under our own name. The full arrangement is set out on our private-label manufacturing page, and the prints behind much of the range are described under hand-block prints.

Minimum order
50 pieces per style, per colourway
Run size
Up to 5,000 pieces per style
Terms
FOB Mumbai or CIF your EU port
Documentation
Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or airway bill, certificate of origin, fibre-composition and country-of-origin labels

Fifty pieces per style, per colourway, split across your size set in whatever ratio sells in your shop. Two styles at fifty each is a perfectly good first order, and it is how most of our long-standing European accounts began. Above five hundred pieces per style the rate improves; collections are quoted above two thousand.

Sampling runs seven to fourteen days a round, bulk production three to six weeks for a run of three hundred to fifteen hundred pieces, and transit follows:

Rotterdam / Antwerp
28–36 days by sea
Hamburg / Bremerhaven
30–38 days by sea
Valencia / Barcelona
22–30 days by sea
Piraeus / Genoa
20–28 days by sea
Air freight
3–6 days door to door

Terms are quoted in writing with dates committed before payment — deposit to begin production, balance before dispatch. Plan on eight to twelve weeks from first conversation to cartons at your door for a straightforward cotton style, fourteen to sixteen with custom printing or embroidery. Start from the homepage to browse the sample catalogues, or send us the styles, quantities and your delivery city and we will come back with a landed-cost estimate rather than only an ex-factory price.
